من نفس الشركة التي طورت لعبة ايرث ورم جيم ، تأتي الشركة بلعبة وايلد 9 للبلي ستيشن 1 ، تتعين اللعبة في عالم 3 دي ولكن جيم اللعبة تجري في نطاق 2 دي ، يأخذ الﻻعب السيطرة على شخصية ويكس الذي تم اختياره لحماية بلده والتخلص من الشرير كارن واتباعه الذين يدمرون بلده يمر بها في عدة مراحل مميزة ويواجه اﻷعداء والعوائق ليتخلص منهم ويصل الى هدفه وهو الشرير كارن لكي يتغلب عليه وينهي مهمته . -

Wild 9, known as Wildroid 9 (ワイルドロイド9 Wairudoroido Nain?) in Japan, is a2.5D platform video game for the PlayStation. The game was designed by David Perry, developed by Shiny Entertainment, and published by Interplay; all of which were parties involved in Earthworm Jim series of video games. The game was released in North America and Europe in September 1998, and in Japan in February 2000.

From the same company that developed the popular EARTHWORM JIM series comes WILD 9 for the PlayStation. The game takes place in a 3D world, with huge polygonal environments, though much of the action occurs on a 2D path. The actual gameplay follows the normal formula of a platformer, except with some exciting new twists. The main character, Wex, has a hook that allows him to attack enemies in various ways. You must learn how to dispose of each enemy in a highly imaginative way. You must also use your hook to solve the various puzzles that are littered throughout each level by utilizing items you find or other objects that are strewn about the environment. Featuring a loud and invigorating rock soundtrack, WILD 9 for the PlayStation takes platforming games to a new level, with brand-new concepts and enough gameplay to keep the most hardcore gamer busy for a while.
