تتعين قصة اللعبة بعد ثﻻث سنوات من احداث الجزء اﻷول ، يكتشف سوليد سنيك ان دولة معادية من الشرق اﻷوسط قد حصلت على خطط ميتل جيير وهم يبنون نموذجا جديدا بشكل سري ، يذهب سوليد سنيك ويقود معه فريق مكون من ثﻻثة رجال في مهمته لتدمير مخطط انشاء ميتل جيير جديد .. -

Snake's Revenge is a stealth action game by Konami released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1990. 
Set three years after the events of the original Metal Gear, FOXHOUND discovers that a hostile nation in the Middle East may have gotten a hold of the plans for Metal Gear and are secretly constructing a new model. Lt. Solid Snake, the FOXHOUND operative responsible for the destruction of Metal Gear, is given orders to lead a three man team to the enemy's base consisting of himself and two fellow operatives.
