في هذه اللعبة يتحكم الﻻعب بشخصية يوشي الذي يعبر بالطفل ماريو عبر 48 مرحلة من اجل اعادة لم شمله مع اخيه لويجي الذي تم اختطافه من قبل اطفال المينيونز .على يوشي خوض مغامرة مع ماريو وعليه القفز والركض وحل اﻷلغاز وجمع العناصر ليتمكن من الوصول الى نهاية كل مرحلة.. -

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island or simply Yoshi's Island, known in Japan as Super Mario: Yoshi Island (Japanese: スーパーマリオ ヨッシーアイランド Hepburn: Sūpā Mario: Yosshī Airando?), is a 1995 platform video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. 
Acting as a prequel to 1990's Super Mario World, the game casts players as Yoshi as he escorts Baby Mario through 48 levels in order to reunite him with his brother Luigi, who had been kidnapped by Baby Bowser's minions. As a Super Marioseries platformer, Yoshi runs and jumps to reach the end of the level while solving puzzles and collecting items.
