رايمان الجزء الثاني من السلسلة عبارة عن لعبة اكشن ومغامرة ، يتحكم فيها اللاعب بشخصية رايمان عبر عدة مراحل مميزة يجمع فيها اقنعة سحرية لكي يستطيع بها ايقاظ الآله الذي سيستعين به لكي ينقذ بلدته من غزو القراصنة.
حصلت اللعبة على تقييمات ممتازة فيما يتعلق بمعايير جرافكس الثري دي المميز فاللعبة وطريقة اللعب ومستوى تصميم المراحل فاللعبة ووضعت من ضمن قائمة افضل الألعاب على مر العصور واعلى تقييم في جميع النسخ حصلت عليه نسخة دريم كاست.

Rayman 2: The Great Escape is an action-adventure video game developed and published by Ubisoft in 1998. It was first released for the Nintendo 64, PC, Dreamcast and PlayStation, and was later adapted for the PlayStation 2 as Rayman Revolution (Rayman 2: Revolution in North America), the Game Boy Color as Rayman 2 Forever (Rayman 2 in North America), the Nintendo DS as Rayman DS, for iPhone/iPod Touch, and as Rayman 3D on the Nintendo 3DS.
The game was critically acclaimed upon release. It is considered to have raised standards regarding 3D, level design and game play,The game has been mentioned in some "Best Games Of All Time" lists in the past.
