WWF Super WrestleMania is a multiplatform wrestling video game based on the World Wrestling Federation, released in 1992 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment Systemand the Sega Mega Drive/Sega Genesis.
All wrestlers share the same set of standard professional wrestling moveslike scoop slams, suplexes, dropkicks, clotheslines, hip tosses, and elbow drops. The Genesis version also has signature moves for each wrestler which can be performed at any time in the match. Gameplay modes consist of one-on-one, tag team, and four-on-fourSurvivor Series elimination matches. The Genesis version also contains a WWF Championship mode where the player selects one wrestler and must defeat the rest in a series of one-on-one matches to be crowned WWF Champion.While the SNES version does not contain signature moves, its roster is a bit larger, with ten wrestlers compared to eight in the Genesis version. The only wrestlers shared between versions are Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage and Ted DiBiase. Wrestlers exclusive to the SNES version are Jake Roberts, The Undertaker, Sid Justice, The Legion of Doom, and The Natural Disasters. Wrestlers exclusive to the Genesis/Mega Drive version are The Ultimate Warrior, Papa Shango, Irwin R. Schyster, The British Bulldog, and Shawn Michaels.

The SNES and Game Boy games were released only in Europe in 1995 and the Virtual Boy game was released exclusively in North America in November 1995. It was released for PC in 1997.
The game is focused around the Mariner's (the main character) trimaran, which the player moves around a 3-D world, shooting enemies on personal water crafts called Smokers. It is a form of 3D shoot 'em up, similar to that of the All-Range Mode in Star Fox 64.The objective is to keep the Smokers from grabbing Atollers placed around the playing field.

In the story mode, the main storyline involves a demon named Dargon who has been revived with the sole intent to destroy the Flying Warriors, who are a team of superheroes. Dargon sent in his Tusk Soldiers to raid Shorinji and they ended up stealing the secret scroll of Hiryu-no-ken in addition to a sacred sword. They also offer a challenge to anyone who wants to reclaim these artifacts, that they would have to show up at the World Tournament.
