الﻻعب يأخذ دور النينجا الشاب والملقب بالظل واسمه كاجي وهو في مهمة ﻷنقاذ اﻷميرة كيري من اﻷشرار الذين قامو بأختطافها .يمر كاجي في مغامرة عبر عدة مراحل تتغير فيها الفصول يبدأها فالغابة ويشق طريقه في محاربة اﻷشرار وصوﻻ الى الممر السري فالقلعة حتى يصل الى جدار القلعة واخيرا يدخل فالقلعة في صراع مع زعيم اﻷشرار ويجب عليه التغلب على زعيم اﻷشرار لكي يتمكن من انقاذ اﻷميرة والفوز باللعبة ... -

The Legend of Kage (影の伝説 Kage no Densetsu?) is a 1985 arcade game by Taito and was released for several contemporary video game home systems in 1986.

The player takes role of the young Iga ninja named Kage ("Shadow") on the mission to rescue Princess Kiri (Kirihime) from the villains Yoshi (Yoshiro Yukikusa) and Yuki (Yukinosuke Kiri). Kage must fight his way through the forest, along the secret passageway, up the fortress wall and through the castle, rescuing her two times (three in the FC/NES version) in order to win the game. Each time the princess is rescued, the seasons change in the game.

في اعقاب ابادة عصابة ماد جير .تظهر مجموعة مجرمين جدد تدعى الجمجمة .بوصفها المنظمة اﻷجرامية الجديدة المسيطرة على ارجاء مدينة ميترو سيتي .يعود بطل القصة الى مدينته ميترو سيتي بعد اﻷنتهاء من تدريبه فنون الدفاع عن النفس في الخارج ليلتقي بصديقه مايك هاغر رئيس امن المدينة وفجأة يصلهم خبر عن عصابة الجمجمة وانها قد بدأت اعمال الشغب والتخريب فالمدينة .هنا ينظم الى بطل القصة ومايك هاغر ايظا شخصين اخرين تم قتل عائلتهما من قبل عصابة الجمجمة ويظهرون معا في مهمة عبر عدة مراحل للقتال والثأر من العصابة وصوﻻ الى رئيس العصابة للتخلص منه واعادة اﻷمن الى المدينة.. -
