Bubsy 3D (also Bubsy Is 3D in Furbitten Planetand Bubsy 3D: Furbitten Planet) is a platform video game developed by Eidetic and published by Accolade and Telstar for the PlayStation video game console. Designed by Michael Berlyn, the game was released on November 25, 1996 in North America and in August 1997 in Europe. It is the fourth and final game in the Bubsy series, and the only one in 3D. It is also one of the earliest 3D platform games, though with limited movement. The game's complete name is a play on words in reference to Forbidden Planet, a 1956 sci-fi film. Lani Minella voices all characters in the game as well as Bubsy.
The game was critically panned and was deemed one of the worst games of all time by GameTrailers, IGN, and GamesRadar. Many of the major elements of the game received criticism; it has been criticized for its graphics, its controls, and the grotesque personality of Bubsy.
