هية لعبة شبيهة بطريقة لعب جولدن اكس او فاينل فايت ولكن مع عناصر اﻷر بي جي في هذه اللعبة ،بعد ان تلقى ابطال اللعبة السيف المسحور ، فرقة من الفرسان الشباب يبدأون مهمة فالسعي لتغيير مصير العالم وذلك بالصراع مع اﻷعداء اما بالفنون القتالية او السيوف او السحر ،كل شخصية لديها اسلوبها الخاص فالقتال ،عدة مودين فاللعبة وهما مود القصة ومود اللعب المتعدد الذي يسمح للعب ست شخصيات ضد بعض .حصلت اللعبة على تقييمات جيدة بشكل عام.

Guardian Heroes (ガーディアン ヒーローズGādian Hīrōzu?) is a 2D side-scrolling beat 'em up video game in the vein of Final Fight or Golden Axe, but with RPG elements. The development team called it a "fighting RPG".Guardian Heroes was developed by Treasureand released in 1996 for the Sega Saturn video game console.
The game allows players to alter the storyline through their actions, such as choosing between a number of branching paths, leading to multiple endings, and killing civilians and enemies, leading to changes in the Karma meter.
After receiving an enchanted sword, a band of young knights begin a quest to change the fate of the world. Battle enemies using martial arts, swords, and magic. All of the characters have unique fighting styles and as they gain experience, each one can be customized. More than 50 different paths through the game lead to a variety of endings. There are a number of play modes to choose from: One-Player Story, Two-Player Story, and Player vs. Player Battle. Plug in a six-player adapter, and six humans can fight each other. Change the world's destiny in GUARDIAN HEROES.
