تبدأ قصة هذا الجزء من اللعبة من حيث انتهت قصة الجزء اﻷول وتستكمل احداثها ، وفي هذا الجزء يتعرض ليان اكسينج لفايروس سايفون فيلتر ليذهب بطل اللعبة غابي في مهمة من اجل العثور على الترياق لكي يوقف انتشار الفايروس في جسم ليان ، ولكي يعثر على الترياق عليه السفر عبر العالم في عدة مراحل مختلفة يواجه فيها الكثير من اﻷعداء ليتخلص منهم ويشق طريقه عبرهم في جيم بلي تصويب من منظور الشخص الثالث ، ايظا تميز هذا اﻷصدار بأضافة امكانية التسلل وراء شخص وقتله من رقبته وغيرها في مغامرة شيقة من اجل الوصول للهدف.. -
Syphon Filter 2 is a third-person shooter stealth video game developed by Eidetic and published by 989 Studiosfor the PlayStation. The game's plot picks up immediately after where the previous Syphon Filter ended. It is the second title in the Syphon Filter series.
Picking up from where the last game left off, Syphon Filter 2 starts with Lian Xing being infected with the Syphon Filter virus. Gabe Logan must find the antidote, stop the spread of the virus, and clear his name. To do all of this, Gabe will have to travel the world and face many enemies. Just like the first game, he can take out foes with quick shots to the head. But this time around Gabe can also sneak up behind someone and slash his throat. Gabe also has help with his mission, as the player will be able to take the role of Lian in several levels. If you get tired of fighting computer drones, a new Deathmatch mode lets you battle your friends. Remember, stealth will keep you alive longer than brute force in Syphon Filter 2.
