مثل اي لعبة سباق اخرى ،عليك اختيار سيارتك والدخول في المنافسة مباشرة مع المتسابقين اﻵخرين من اجل الفوز في السباق وحصد الجوائز ،هذه النسخة حصلت على تحسينات فالجرافيكس وجودة الصوت على عكس الجزء اﻷول من اللعبة ،حصلت اللعبة على تقييمات ايجابية إجمالا.

Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2, known as Shutokō Battle 2 (首都高バトル 2) in Japan and Tokyo Highway Challenge 2 in Europe, is the sequel to Tokyo Xtreme Racer, which is also on the Sega Dreamcast. Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2 has been enhanced with better sound quality and graphics over its predecessor. The game managed to produce two more sequels. It is the last game in the series that was produced for Sega Dreamcast. Some of the game's mechanics were implemented into Daytona USA 2001.
When you enter the world of street racing it's not for the trophies, it's for the rush. Race through the streets of Tokyo at up to 200 miles an hour, challenging other racers, each with their unique car and racing style, to winner take all competitions.
As you gain victories, customize your car with over 100 parts, new paint jobs and stickers. You will need a finely tuned machine, as well as lightning reflexes and nerves of steel, if you want to become Emperor of the Highway.
